Ozzy Osbourne still has it 42 years later and after over 100 million albums sold worldwide! His latest album, titled "Scream," was released June of 2010.

On Thursday, February 3, 2011, my fiancé and I attended the Ozzy Osbourne concert at the HP Pavilion (home of the Sharks) located at 525 West Santa Clara Street in San Jose, Ca. The over 19,000 seat house, naturally, was sold out; this is Ozzy Osbourne we're talking about.

The people in attendance greatly ranged in age. There were parents with their pre-teen children, teenagers, young adults and, of course, the old school fans.

The concert was opened up with the former Guns N' Roses lead guitarist, Slash, and is a great stage performer. He is touring with Myles Kennedy, vocalist, whose voice is fantastic. Slash released his solo debuting album "Slash" in mid 2010 and has a second album planned for release some time in 2012.

Before Ozzy's solo career, he was legend in Black Sabbath and did performed songs from his hay day as well.

Ozzy is a fantastic front man that puts on an incredible show, he had a high energy level and his voice was pristine. He always seems to have a fascination with soaking himself and the audience with water from buckets and hoses; this show was no exception. Luckily, we were several rows behind the soak zone.

A few of the songs he performed were: Crazy Train, Mama I'm Coming Home, Mr. Crowley, and Fairies Wear Boots.

We were at floor level in the 25th row and paid $76.50 (not including fees) for each ticket. For today's concert pricing, it was pretty reasonable to see such a legend in incredible seats!

The sound set up was incredible and left the arena booming.

During Tommy Clufetos' drum solo, his set raises up and there is a light show throughout.

Parking fees are ever increasing and was $20.

Merchandise was on the expensive side; the cheapest t-shirt was $40.

The HP Pavilion decided to raise the prices of beer for this event by $1.

For the most part, the ushers were pretty reasonable and allowed the attendees to have a good time. (Within reason, of course.) However, there was one usher near us that was trying to do way too much regulating. People are expected to be dancing around, rocking out and having a blast. If you set one foot into the aisle, he was on you instantaneously.

An Ozzy concert is a must see event. Slash opening the concert was a huge added bonus.

Bottom line: Highly Recommended.
