While it's not Pacquiao vs. Mayweather as we all hoped, boxing fans are still in for a great matchup on Saturday when Manny Pacquiao takes on Shane Mosley.
The fight predictions are pretty lopsided in favor of "Pac-Man" for this one despite "Sugar Shane" Mosley's size and power advantage.
Mosley (46-6-1) has a solid record and poses some new problems to Pacquiao in this one but there is some question as to whether or not he can keep up in this fight. He gassed later against Mayweather and Pacquiao has a similar pace.
Pacquiao (52-3-2), a Congressional rep. in the Phillipines, still manages to stay in world-class shape and he will try to outbox and outpoint Mosley while staying out of range for the big shot. He is just as popular outside the ring in the political world as he is inside of it and his presence as a big draw will also this fight to do well in the PPV's.
But Pacquiao will have a hard time finishing Mosley in this one. That makes for another entertaining display of his skills and his chin, the latter of which he will need more than usual against the powerful Mosley.
Prediction for Pacquiao-Mosley: Expect Manny to go all out to put on a show in this one landing tons of combinations while coasting (despite some tense moments in the early rounds) to a decision victory, being careful not to overextend himself going for the knockout.
