Padre Balli Park, located at 15820 Park Road, Corpus Christi, is a Nueces County Beach Park that has over 60 pull-through, paved RV sites that measure 20' x 65'. Some of these RV sites are shaded and they have either 20 or 30 amp service as well as a picnic table. There is a 14 day maximum stay limit here that guests should be aware of. Since this is a beach park, the beach is only 100 yards from the RV sites in Padre Balli Park, but the RV sites are located close together. Most guests overlook the togetherness of the RV sites because of the beach being so close to where their RV is located.

Located on the north end of Padre Island, Padre Balli Park not only offers its guests a close base camp for their beach activities, their guests can also enjoy the many activities that are available in this part of Texas. This would include the Texas State Aquarium and Dolphin Bay, the U.S.S. Lexington Museum, the American Bank Center, the Botanical Gardens and Nature Center and the Ships of Christopher Columbus. Other places to visit in this area are the Dolphin Connection, the King Ranch, the Science and History Museum, the Art Museum, Treasure Island Golf and Games, Funtrackers Amusement Park, Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra, Heritage Park and Multicultural Center and the Corpus Christi Ballet. Padre Island National Seashore, Bob Hall Pier, Bird Island Basin, Texas Surf Museum and Selena Museum are also located in this area of the Texas Gulf Coast and close enough to Padre Balli Park for RVers to stay at the park and visit these places.

RVers who are contemplating staying at Padre Balli Park should know that pets are welcome as long as they remain on a leash when they are outside the RV. Guests will also have the opportunity to use the bathhouse and laundry that are located here as well as a first-aid station should they need one. There is also a pavilion and a dump station located on the property for guests to use.

For more information on Padre Balli Park, interested RVers can visit http://nuecesbeachpark.com/pbpark.html where they will find the rates for staying here, more on the facilities the park has, a photo gallery of the park, maps and directions to the park and even more tourist information or they can call 361-949-8121. Tents are also welcome at Padre Balli Park.

Tents and camping in the sand don't mix! Been there--done that! Sounds like a nice park!
