Most of the pagan folk that I know are just the same as their Christian counterparts. They work, cook, raise a family, drive a car, and pay their mortgage. They also know that there is an underlying current of energy that connects all things. They also believe that good or evil is in the heart of the witch. As a group, we can not blame Satan for the bad things that we do, we must accept responsibility for our own actions. I believe that those Christians' that blame Satan for the bad things that they do, should think about changing their minds and taking responsibility for themselves.
If you follow the teachings of Christ, then I would say that pagans aren't much different. Some Christian teachings that come to mind are to treat people as we would have them to treat us. Pagans believe that whatever we do comes back to us. You know the old saying, "What goes around, comes around." It's the same idea. So, those two teachings are not very different. Another teaching is to honor our parents. As a pagan, we take it one step further and say that there should be respect and love for all people. And I believe that when Jesus was explaining his teachings that his followers were told to have tolerance and to turn the other cheek when faced with adversity. The pagans that I know fully believe and follow this tenant. I can't say the same for some of the Christians that I know. Pagans come in all shades, shapes, and from many different backgrounds. So do Christians.
I don't care what you believe in religion, politics, faith, or money matters. What I do care about is that each of us gives respect and honesty in everything that we do. Don't judge someone else, lest you be judged. Sound familiar? Treat each other with respect and learn a little about the argument before you jump in feet first and make a fool out of yourself. Take the time to understand where the other person is coming from instead of just dismissing them because they don't believe exactly as you believe. Have love, trust, and hope in your heart all the days of your life.
