Page View Races - Getting to Know Team "Turn the Page"
A Look at the Members of My Page View Races Team
I was happy to recognize the names of 2 of my teammates, Leroy Coffie and Trine Feuerborn. That leaves 6 members that I had absolutely no idea about - but you can bet I'll spend the next two months learning their content libraries inside and out. Here's a look at the people of Turn the Page. Please feel free to look at some of our published content, every view gets us one step closer to winning!
Jillian McCoy - Yours truly. I've been publishing on AC for just under a month at the time of this writing. Most of my library consists of articles on topics I'm interested in - video games, fashion, and music to name a few. As of today, I'm also a featured video games contributor (yay!). I'm currently participating in NaPoWriMo - National Poetry Writing Month, and contributing a poem to AC every day in April. Last but not least, I take special interest in writing about writing - I enjoy sharing what I learn with my fellow writers and hope to contribute many helpful articles on the subject.
Trine Feuerborn - Trine was born and raised in Denmark, and now lives in the United States with her husband and daughter. She currently has 4 articles published on AC, all of them based on her personal experiences. Talk about writing what you know! Trine has an autobiographical style that I really enjoy, reading her pieces feels like going for coffee with a good friend. I definitely look forward to reading more from her in the future.
Leroy Coffie - Leroy is a Christian writer residing in Florida, with 2 published books and a number of published poems under his belt. His AC library is a mixed bag including poetry, politics, Christian themes and sports. Leroy has been publishing on AC for just under 2 months, and has managed to contribute 81 pieces as of this writing - more than one submission a day! He has boosted his page views by more than 2,000 in the two weeks since page view totals were collected on March 31st.
Andrea Parker - Andrea also lives in Florida, as a single mother of 2. In her 6 months at AC, she's published nearly 60 pieces of content and is a Featured Diseases & Conditions Contributor. Many of her articles are related to autism. She also writes about food, frugal living and a variety of other topics. As of this writing, Andrea is a Clout 5 writer - with the high demand for information about autism, she's primed to achieve Clout 6 soon.
Kent Tompkins - Kent hails from Brooklyn, New York. He recently celebrated his 3 month anniversary on AC, and has produced over 100 articles since joining. Kent seems to enjoy "paying it forward" - among his submissions are shout-outs to other AC writers he considers his favorites. Another mixed bag writer, Kent's library features articles ranging from technology to clothing to inspirational pieces. Like Andrea, Kent is at Clout 5 - and I wouldn't be surprised if he reaches Clout 6 or higher by the end of this page view race.
Bonnie Doss-Knight - Bonnie is our team's page view leader, currently at just over 10,000 (Congratulations Bonnie!). This status will put her into the next tier when the page races come around again. Like Leroy, Bonnie is an "officially" published author - see the names of her works listed in her profile information. Her articles deal primarily with different facets of the human condition - spirituality, holistic healing, emotions and relationships.
James Collum - James lives in Jackson, Mississippi. Here's another writer who contributes about once a day - in his 5 months at AC he's published 165 pieces. He writes memoirs and poetry in addition to informational articles, many of which are spiked with a dash of humor. It's not all laughs with him, however - James has also created a series about the unfortunate topic of sexual abuse.
Honora James - Honora is among AC's many Christian writers. Spiritually-focused pieces are interspersed among her library of poetry, celebrity news, book reviews and other contributions. Her profile is particularly well-written in my opinion, discussing her status as a full-time freelance writer. Honora has been a member of AC for just over four months, during which time she's racked up over a thousand page views.
Alexiandria M. Michaels - Alexiandria does things a little differently. Unlike the other members of our team, her work is primarily focused on art. Many of her 17 currently published pieces feature slideshows of original art, often coupled with poetry. Clearly her work resonates with other users here at AC, as she currently has more fans than published pieces. I appreciate that Alexiandria takes a different approach with her submissions, I haven't come across another contributor yet that offers up their own art as a main attraction.
This is just a quick look at the 9 writers who make up team Turn the Page. Please cheer us on in the page view races, happening during the period from April 1st to June 1st. If you're interested, feel free to browse the profiles of my talented teammates to get a better look at their offerings. To everyone involved in the latest page view races, good luck and happy writing!
