Paid Surveys for Extra Cash

Cynthia Liu
As a first year college student, I found out that having a job can be really difficult, especially when you have to juggle your classes, extracurricular activities, and adjust to the college environment.

I worked as a cashier register at the University Bookstore, and I made some money there, but it was only for 1 week after school started and during the last week, before school ended. I needed a job that wouldn't take too much of time, was convenient, and gave me some pocket cash, whether it was for books, clothes, or a latte at Dunkin' Donuts.

During a break at my summer job in an office freshman year, I was browsing the Internet, when I came across an interesting concept-paid surveys! Just by taking 20-30 minute surveys, I could earn some cash easily. I tried different sites; some have been scams, but others have earned me hundreds of dollars over the past 3 years. Here are some sites that can help you work from home and earn money!

Mysurvey.com-By taking these simple surveys, which are usually 10 points each, you can easily earn up to 1,000 points, which can then be redeemed for $10. By referring others to the site, you can earn even more!

Inboxdollars.com-This site lets you play games, read emails and paid ads, sign up for newsletters and freebies, and earn $5 or more on surveys. After $30, you can get a check at home.

Lightspeed Panel (http://us.lightspeedpanel.com/index.html)-With just a PayPal account, you can earn from 75 points to 200 points per survey. 575 points earns you $5 at PayPal or Amazon.com.

Opinionoutpost.com-Everyone has opinions, whether it's about the newest fashions or the latest debate, take a quick survey and earn anywhere from $1 to $10 every time.

Your2Cents.com-Everyone qualifies for $1 to $5 when they qualify to take a survey here. It only takes $5 to cash out.

CashCrate.com-Fill out companies' ads and earn cash!

CentSports.com-If you're into sports, you can bet on which team will win. After $10, you can cash it out to PayPal. They start you off with $0.10, and if you lose it, they'll give you 10 more cents!

For me personally, I created an Excel spreadsheet, so I'd know exactly which survey companies were working well for me, and which weren't. All these sites are absolutely free, and you can cancel at anytime. In addition, if you have questions or comments, I have emailed the administrators and they respond quickly and are very helpful. Good luck making cash on the web! :)
