Paint Your Days, Every Way

Deonils
when my mornings are cadmium
there is variety and surprise, it must be said
for there is cadmium yellow and cadmium red

when my siesta meets my afternoons
it could be summer in Durban, London, Vienna ...
yet, there is choice: raw or burnt sienna

my evenings are predictable, or not --
Prussian Blue, Payne's Gray, Titanium White
enough to calm and delight

my nights have some umber
Burnt or Raw... I can't remember
Sap and Emerald Greens ... seed new dreams

Many colors featured in this poem as you paint your days.

A lovely rainbow of a poem. Have you ever read "My Many Colored Days"by Doctor Seuss?
This reminds me of an adult version of that book.
