Palmer Chocolate "Christmas Mints": The Perfect Mix of Mint & Chocolate

Miss Fortune
As I have mentioned in other product reviews, Palmer Chocolate is one of my favorite companies for seasonal candy items. Even though I love Holiday Wishes, "Christmas Mints" are also a favorite of mine. Packaged in almost the same type of bag, these bits of chocolate and mint goodness are hard to resist but something that I buy a ton of to have around the house, to use for baking and to have in the candy jar at the shop. Everyone loves them and the combination of chocolate and mint is absolutely perfect. To make these even more intoxicating, they are individually wrapped in foil with attractive designs so they are one of the best picks for a candy dish or dessert tray after a holiday meal.

It can be a little confusing to have these out with the "Holiday Wishes" candies; these are mint green colored foiled gift boxes with red ribbon whereas the others are gift boxes of a variety of colors. It does help to have them in separate bowls in case some people do not like the mint and chocolate combination. If you like the overall taste of a Peppermint Pattie then you will love these as the mint has a bite to it but not something that it is so strong that it sticks with you for a long time. They are the perfect mint for after dinner but before dessert. A single serving of Christmas Mints is four pieces; each serving contains 190 calories, 23 grams of carbohydrates and 11 grams of fat.

Palmer Chocolate is manufactured in Pennsylvania from ingredients purchased within the United States. To me this is something that means a lot; I'm keeping a local business up and running and I don't have to worry about products from foreign countries ending up in my chocolate. I have used these in the past to make Mint Cookies as well as adding them to ice cream as a topping. To get the best flavor from them you can refrigerate them so they are a bit on the hard side. Because of their small size they are the perfect thing to add to Christmas stockings and rumor has it that this is something that Santa absolutely loves with his milk and cookies. One of the best parts of Christmas Mints? The price! You can get these for less than a dollar at most stores that sell Palmer products. I purchased these for .88 cents at my local Save-A-Lot and consider them some of the best mints around!
