The three blocks with reported auto burglaries in October are:
--1 Block Newell Road 10/16
--1 Block Newell Road 10/5
--1600 Block Woodland Ave 10/20
--2000 Block Manhattan Ave 10/19
This is not necessarily an indication that auto burglaries are on the rise like they were back in August, but it certainly means if you live in these areas to take special precautions. Police advise always locking your car doors. Never leave any valuables, including GPS units in your vehicle if possible. Contact Palo Alto police if you see any suspicious activity in your neighborhoods.
