Palo Alto residents get world class chocolate at new chocolate boutique

There is probably nothing more universal than a love for chocolate, and there is nothing more satisfying than a rich creamy, handcrafted truffle. Palo Alto has a new boutique, Coco-Luxe, that just opened a temporary store in the Town and Country Mall.

They offer truffles with names like, "After Dinner Mint", "Banana Split", "Chai tea", and "Double Cherry". You can also indulge in one of their custom blend cocoas with homemade marshmallows. According to Palo Alto store manager, Jennifer Simons, "One try of these and you will never want store-bought again."

Coco-Luxe Chocolates are made with "all natural ingredients," according to Simpson, making them unique from other chocolate products out there. The decadent chocolates are made by expert chocolatier, Stephanie Marcon in their commercial kitchen in Sausalito, where attention to the smallest details make Coco-Luxe chocolates a growing habit for many Bay Area chocoholics. If the store does well in Palo Alto, there is the possibility of a permanent boutique in the future.

--Prices range from $2.00 (ideal for stocking stuffer), $6.95 for 3-truffle box, to $69.95 for a 36 piece truffle box.
