Pam Anderson and Kid Rock to Divorce

Pam Anderson and Kid Rock Are Getting a Divorce After Less Than Four Months of Marriage

Pam Anderson and Kid Rock are getting a divorce after less than four months of marriage. According to reports, Pam Anderson and Kid Rock both filed divorce papers today - divorce papers that Pam Anderson and Kid Rock both filed separately and only 53 minutes apart, leading some to speculate that Pam and Kid Rock were in a race to get their individual divorce papers filed first.

Pam Anderson's divorce papers reflect a slightly different date of separation than Kid Rock's, however. Pam's say November 21; Kid Rock's say November 26.

The union between Anderson, 39, and Ritchie, 35, has allegedly been rocky since Pam and Kid Rock were engaged to be married in the deserts of Las Vegas in April 2002. The famous celebrity duo broke up the next year.

After getting back together, Pam and Kid Rock enjoyed multiple wedding ceremonies over the summer, and were wed in late July near St. Tropez, France, then once more at a Beverly Hills courthouse on Aug. 3.

Finally, the controversial couple had another wedding celebration on Aug. 17 at a ceremony held in Nashville, Tenn.

Previously married to a very different kind of rocker for three years, Pam was in a much-publicized on-again, off-again relationship with Tommy Lee. While both hard rockers, Kid Rock varied from Tommy Lee in that Rock enjoyed fame with rock-rap hits that had him proclaiming: "My name is Kiiiiiiiiiid Rooooooooocckk!" to screaming and adoring fans.

Joined in marriage on August 3, 2006, Pam and Kid Rock had no children borne together, but the couple reportedly suffered the agonizing loss of a child through miscarriage. Pam does have two children - both two sons, Brandon, 10, and Dylan, 8 - from her prior marriage to Tommy Lee, who was reportedly abusive to the blonde starlet.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, has a 13-year-old son named Bob Jr.

Pam reportedly hired Neal Hersh - a lawyer to the stars - and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her impending divorce from Kid Rock. Pam's attorney refused to comment on further specific reasons behind her divorce from Kid Rock.

Kid Rock, a Michigan native who owns a condo in Nashville, also listed "irreconcilable differences" in his divorce petition filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Reporters have also gotten hold of all the Pam Anderson and Kid Rock divorce details, even down to video of the divorce papers of the couple who reportedly had no pre-nuptial agreement. News reports claim that Pam is asking Kid Rock to pay her attorney fees. Kid Rock's paperwork reportedly requests that each of them pay their own attorney fees.

On Pam's web site (PamelaAnderson.com), Pam says about her impending divorce: "Divorce. Yes, it's true. Unfortunately impossible."

Thanks, Manda. Yeah it is kinda creepy when a couple feels they need to keep having weddings...it's as if they (and others) are trying to force the marriage to stick. I feel bad for Pam, though. Such bad luck with men. And I hate to see couples split up, but maybe this one is for the best.

My teen daughter was saying to me (when the two got married) how much they 'obviously' loved each other due to the many seremonies all around the world they had..... I had told her that it seemed like nothing more than a publicity stunt and I did not believe they would last through the year. Today she was shocked and I had to explain a few things about the intimacy of love. Again Paula, you are right on it. You're a fine reporter.

    Hi Paula,
Once again you are so current. I just heard this an hour ago. Hehe. I was kind of sad when I heard this. I kinda hoped that this would last. At least Kid Rock is better than Tommy Lee. At least Kid didn't hit her. I hope she doesn't go back to Tommy Lee. Maybe she needs to finds be alone for awhile instead of going head on to these terrible relationships. Oh well. Great job. Bye

It is amazing to see that Hollywood again stresses the divorce stats. Good job Paula!
