I have tried both of these brands and I would have to say that Huggies defiantly holds the most urine, but for my children since they have bubble butts, Pampers fits them better and prevents leaks better.
Huggies diapers claim that they have "unbeatable leak protection" and new "baby shape" is designed to stretch with baby. It also says that it absorbs faster. These diapers are new and improved. When I tested Huggies with a balloon filled with water it had a good absorption rate and not a leak. I then tried Huggies on my daughter. I liked the way that the diaper would feel after she had urinated, but it was no match for her poop. It shot up the back of the diaper every time. Huggies just don't fit "the junk in her trunk."
Pampers diapers now has "caterpillar" stretch. Much like Huggies they are now designed to shrink and expand with babies movement and stomach expansion. If you are not familiar with babies, yet their stomachs expand greatly especially after they eat. Babies are also belly breathers so it expands and contrast with every breath they take. Pampers also claims to have a special core absorber that wicks the liquid a way from baby. While it does take the moister away from the baby it has a strange feeling to it when wet. As soon as my daughter urinated you could tell and would have to be immediately changed. She had the saggy look with these diapers. Pampers also had a good absorption rate. It quickly wicked the water away from the balloon, but the diaper became soggy. It had a very gross feeling to it when the water was absorbed.
Comparing prices Huggies are generally a little cheaper running $28.99 for 120 diapers of size 4 makes them .24 cents per diaper. Pampers are $37.99 for 140 of size 4 making them .27 cents per diaper. Don't forget to look for coupons too when shopping for diapers this always helps cut down on the cost. Buying diapers in bulk is also a good way to save on price per diaper. I would suggest using 1800 diapers or purchasing them at a warehouse club like Costco or Sam's Club. Usually these places carry diapers in larger containers making the per diaper price cheaper and they also accept coupons.
Both of these diapers do work well, but you must keep in mind that every child is different and not every diaper fits the same way. Think of diapers as jeans. No way could most people go and pick out a pair of jeans in their size and expect them to fit. Different brands are cut different and no two brands fit the same way. You must shop around and try on many pairs of jeans before you find the pair that fit your body perfectly. Diapers are the same way. Each baby is shaped differently and the diapers that fit your first child may not fit your next child the same way. For my family Huggies even though they are slightly cheaper just don't properly fit my daughter like pampers does. For someone else Huggies may be a better fit for their child. Shop around you may have to try a few diapers before finding the perfect fit for your child. This is where samples come in handy. Even if you don't plan on using a certain brand diaper hang on to the samples you never know they might be the ones that best fit your child.

pampers are the best
i personally can NOT stand huggies! i LOVE Pampers... i tried Huggies and they would not keep the pee in for nothing. i put him in a diaper at night and sleeps until around 8 am and he is drinched. but when i put him in Pampers, there is nothing. it's great. so every morning i can count on Pampers doing the job.... i will never use another band of diapers besides Pampers.. LUV IT!!!

DIS IS LAME IM NOT AWSWEING IT B1tch
I THINK THAT HUGGIES IS BETTER CAUSE IT ALL OVER TV LIKE REALLY
I have found that Huggies leak less, but my son gets diaper rash easier with them. I'd rather a leak and no rash personally.
My parents made me used Huggies and they were very good. Pampers was leaking for me. And the sides got sweaty. Thank god for Huggies. I wish I was a baby to wear the diaper jeans now :(
