The Panasonic KX-TG9344T comes in two different models, depending on the amount of handsets that you wish to utilize at one time. Two was good enough for us, but I decided to take a more complex model with 4 sets available to make sure that I had the right thing. The Panasonic KX-TG9344T has the capacity of having 6 set at a time. We are extremely cautious when it comes to making sure that we are getting the right thing. Sometimes the price is not as important.
The Panasonic KX-TG9344T is very convenient that way, because all of the sets come with their own separate charging unit bases. It is ideal for a big family. They all work as independent units, and you can monitor the answering machines, and control all the features with any of the hand sets, which is very practical. Imagine if it could only be done with number onem and not with number two, and you had to go looking for number one, to check the message. Each handset of the Panasonic KX-TG9344T has an inbuilt speaker, and a headset jack for the headphones.
The Panasonic KX-TG9344T has an answering machine system at the main base. However, you cannot operate the answering machine system from the base. You can only receive, and make calls through the inbuilt speaker.
Another very important point that I have learned from using phones, is that it is extremely important to register yourself with the phone company for getting the Caller ID. Having registered for this enables many of features with the Panasonic KX-TG9344T, and it is very useful, if you are not interested in annoying telemarketing phone calls all the time.
The Panasonic KX-TG9344T comes with a very bright light that some people, like myself, find annoying. The only way to deal with that, is to take the phone out of the charging base before going to sleep. However, my in-laws find that feature to be very important, as otherwise they used to have a small lamp on all the time to guide them around at night. I suppose that can also be considered a good feature of the Panasonic KX-TG9344T, if you get a phone call at night, and you can reach the phone easily without having to search the whole house for it.
The Panasonic KX-TG9344T has proven to do its share, and a bit more. I am still struggling with some of its features like the alarm systems, that of course, once you set them, are there for good. Also, a very good phone book of about 50 numbers, which can be shared from any set, and a list of 20 phone numbers which you can block. The caller will get a busy tone for that one.
All in all, The Panasonic KX-TG9344T is pretty cool, and it is serving its purpose well.
