The vacuum has a 12 amp motor and an electronic dirt sensor. I don't find this feature to be useful since I can tell where I have vacuumed just by looking. The way it light up is rather annoying. It has a dual HEPA filtration system. It is designed to automatically remove dirt from the filter. This feature is meant to make the suction stronger because the filter is always clean. However, I'm not sure it makes much difference as the vacuum is not very strong to begin with.
The vacuum is advertised as being able to clean both bare floor and carpet. There is a switch that makes it easy to change from one to the other. I find that the vacuum works much better on carpet than bare floors. It is hard to control on our wood floors and tends to just spread dirt around.
I do like that the attachment tools are stored on-board so I do not have to go searching for them whenever I want to use them. It includes a dusting brush, crevice tool, and air turbine. The latter is designed to pick up pet hair but I cannot comment on how it works since I have no pets.
The dirt is collected in a dirt cup so there are no bags to purchase or worry about getting full. This is a nice feature in a vacuum because it will save you money and time in the long run. I also appreciate that I can see when the cup is full so that I can easily tell when it is time to empty it.
A feature of this vacuum that I like is that it has a long 24 foot cord and the cord winds itself up easily with the push of a button which saves time when I want to put it away.
One of the problems that I have with this vacuum is that it tips over really easily. It's not a problem while you are using it but I would be worried about leaving it standing around with kids or pets in the house that it could crush.
Overall, this vacuum is quite heavy to use and does not have great suction so I would recommend you look elsewhere for one.
