This really pleased me because the other sample sachets are about four and a half inches tall, and they have 8.3 ml. of shampoo. If you need 2 applications when washing your hair, then these don't always work for you.
I have blonde highlighted hair, so I got this for my husband, as his hair is brown. It used to be black when I first knew him.
I got to use this on his hair, just after he slipped down the stairs in Boston. Because of the continual bleeding on his elbows, due to the three blood thinners he takes, I didn't want these areas to get wet.
We did the old fashioned washing of the hair over the bathtub. I wet Len's hair, and then tore off the top of the sachet. The shampoo looks like pearls, and is on off-white color. It is creamy. I put it into the palms of my hands, and then rubbed it into Len's hair. It lathered really well, and I added just a tiny bit more water, to get an even better lather.
I had only used half of the sachet, and if it had been my hair, I would probably have finished the sachet. With a man, they have less hair, so one application was enough. I was able to tape over the top of the sachet so that it could be used next time.
I got a jug of warm water and rinsed Len's hair. I towel dried it for him and it didn't need a conditioner. After blow drying it, his hair was baby fine, and really shone.
What Pantene say about their product on the sachet:
"Daily color enhancing shampoo.
Toffee to almond for lighter brunette shades.
Helps enhance depth and richness for multi-dimensional shine.
With oat protein extract.
For natural, color treatment, or highlighted hair."
Len's hair really did look bright, and you could pick out different colors of brown in it. On the leaflet that came with it, it says that the "highs and lows lustrous with a never-before Pro-Vitamin formula that makes brunette look lit from within". I get what they mean, because Len does color his hair, so it has more than one shade. These seemed to jump out instead of his hair looking just okay.
I didn't use the conditioner that came with it as his hair was baby soft without it.
Len normally uses Head & Shoulders, or whatever shampoo I give him. I tend to pass most of them over to him, after I have used them several times. If I get a coupon, plus a good offer at the drugstore, then I may well purchase this for him. The 13.5 fluid ounce bottle retails for around $4 to $5.

A great article.
I hope it would be fine for you Michele.
I can't use hair coloring (since my brain surgery) but I wonder if this would be okay. I'll have to ask, cheers
Great review. This brought out red highlights in my hair for some reason.
