Pantene Color Hair Solutions Is a Multi-Purpose Shampoo

Pam Parent
Pantene Color Hair Solutions is a shampoo that not only gives hair health and manageability, but can also be used for many other purposes. In these times, most of us have become more frugal, and we cut costs whenever possible. I know that if I can turn a product into a multi-purpose product, I am thrilled. I started to experiment with the Pantene Color Hair Solutions Shampoo and Conditioner to find other uses that may have the same results that the shampoo and conditioner gave to my hair. I found eight different ways to use the Pantene products.

Shaving Cream

In a bowl, I mixed an equal ratio of Pantene Color Hair Solutions Shampoo and Conditioner. I then dipped my fingers in the mixture and rubbed it on my legs. I began to shave my legs, and occasionally rinsed the razor off with warm water. Afterwards, I noticed it left my legs silky smooth.

Cleaning Craft Paint Brushes

I have quite a collection of paint brushes that I use for painting and stenciling my craft projects. I placed a dab of the Pantene Color Hair Solutions on the bristles of the brush, then gently rubbed the bristles under the kitchen faucet until all the paint was removed. It left the paint brush bristles soft and completely free of paint.

Spot Cleaning Rugs

I noticed that I had a spot on my oriental rug. I gently rubbed a dab of Pantene Hair Color Solutions Shampoo on the spot with a clean sponge. I then rinsed it with cool water, and blotted it dry with a clean rag. I repeated this step once more, and the spot was gone. Depending on what the spill or spot was made from, or how long it has been there, once or twice usually does the trick.

Cleaning Woodwork

I poured two capfuls of Pantene Color Hair Solutions Shampoo into a half bucket of lukewarm water. I gently stirred until it was completely mixed. I dipped a clean rag into the bucket them proceeded to wash my woodwork and my wood kitchen doors. My woodwork looked great, and each room had a clean, fresh scent.

Hand Soap

I filled inexpensive soap dispensers with a mixture of 1/3 shampoo, 1/3 conditioner and 1/3 water. I gently shook the dispenser to make sure it was completely mixed. This is an inexpensive way to have hand soap available at all times. I placed a dispenser filled with the Pantene shampoo and conditioner by my kitchen sink, and in each of my bathrooms.

Bubble Bath

I ran out of bubble bath one evening and decided to experiment with the Pantene Color Hair Solutions shampoo. I poured two capfuls of shampoo under the running bath water. It was a heavenly bath, and it is now my new bubble bath. It made a ton of bubbles and left my skin silky soft.

Washing Nylons

My main wardrobe consists of skirts and dresses, and I wear nylons on a daily basis. Nylons are expensive, and making them last longer is a benefit. Pour a cap-full of Pantene shampoo in a sink of warm water. Gently swish the water to make sure the shampoo is completely mixed with the water. Place nylons or any other delicates into the sink of water. Gently wash, then rinse, and lay flat to dry. It cleans the nylons and leaves them with a fresh scent.

Washing Clothes

I have a few clothing items that need special care. I placed the washing machine on the delicate cycle, then added two capfuls of the Pantene Color Hair Solutions Shampoo in the cool water. When the clothes were finished washing, I lay them flat to dry. They not only were clean, but also had a nice scent.
