Pantene for Medium to Thick Hair: How to Use It for Best Results
Tips on Using Pantene for Medium to Thick Hair and Your Overall Hair Care Regime
Sometimes our hair begins to lose its beauty and shine. It begins to appear lifeless and dull. If you have been using the same shampoo and conditioner for a few years, now is the time to try a different product. Our hair, like our bodies, can become stubborn. By using the same products, the hair is not feeling renewed and challenged. New products with different serums and natural herbs can rejuvenate and begin to restore the life in your hair, acting as a challenge for the hair to respond and work. The hair care products today add serums and new scientifically tested, earth-friendly and healthy body products. Some are found and harvested directly from plants, vegetables and fruits. These new products offer a renewed energy to the body and the hair.
Coarse hair has to have something to perk it up. A new shampoo with unique enhancers can change coarse, thick hair into a more manageable texture. It can even begin to enhance your appearance with the ability to add a new style to what appeared to be hair that would not accept styling.
Shampoo
When using Pantene shampoo, manipulate the shampoo into your hair thoroughly. Make sure to massage the scalp for several minutes to remove all conditioners and oils. After shampooing the hair twice, rinse well with cool water. Do not use hot water. Hot water tends to dry the hair more and makes the hair less manageable. After rinsing twice to guarantee all the shampoo is removed and you have a clean scalp, then its time to add your Pantene conditioner.
Conditioner
When using the conditioner, work it into the scalp. Take a medium- to wide-tooth comb and work the conditioner through the hair all the way to the ends, making sure all ends are well covered. After combing through, place a conditioning plastic cap on your head for 15 minutes or sit under the dryer with the cap covering your entire scalp for five minutes. When the time is up, head back to the shower to rinse your hair.
Rinse
Rinse your hair again twice. Make sure to rinse with warm water to assure all the conditioner is removed. When finished, your hair should feel silky, smooth and squeaky clean. After rinsing the hair thoroughly, you now are ready to dry your hair with a blow dryer or use rollers and allow the curls to set overnight or while sitting under a hair dryer.
After completing your hair care regimen, add a leave-in conditioner just before rolling your hair, or if you are going to blow dry the hair, add a leave-in conditioner before blow drying. A quarter-sized amount of mayonnaise or carrot-enhanced hair oil will also help to add a little extra protection to the ends in addition to a nice sheen.
