Pantene Pro-V Hair Solutions: Review of the Fine Hair Solutions Shampoo

I have fine hair, so finding a shampoo that not only cleans my hair but leaves it with some volume is usually difficult. When I found out Pantene Pro-V was coming out with a new product line for different hair needs, I was optimistic. I've used Pantene in the past as well as different brands, but I have always liked the way Pantene smelled and made my hair feel.

To see if I could get the volume I want without the weighed-down feeling other shampoos give me, I tried the Flat to Volume Shampoo and Conditioner from the Fine Hair Solutions line. The shampoo is clear, which some might think is drying when compared to a creamy formula, but I found that it kept my hair feeling moisturized, even while I washed it. The shampoo also suds up nicely, so I won't pretend I didn't make a beehive hairdo out of shampoo suds after I was done cleaning my hair. Once I was ready to rinse the shampoo out, I felt my hair was really clean, but not stripped of any healthy oils or moisture that some shampoos leave you without.

Since I have naturally fine hair, I wasn't expecting to have lot of volume after using the shampoo and conditioner. On the other hand, my hair felt light and fresh, since the ingredients didn't weigh my hair down. To get the volume promised by the line Pantene recommends, you use the shampoo, conditioner and root lifter spray. I'm often a wash-and-go type of girl, so I don't use everything I need to all the time.

Overall, I think the Fine Hair system works well, and I would definitely recommend it to others who have the same hair type as me. When I do style my hair, I like my hair to feel natural, and with Pantene you don't get the greasy or stiff feeling other products leave.
