Pantsuits and Hillary Clinton

A Detailed Analysis of the Pantsuit

Zane WaltZ
Much has been made of Hillary Clinton's Pantsuits by commentators and comedians alike. Recently on CSPAN a caller complained about the Pantsuit coverage of Hillary and indicated it was wrong to make jokes about her outfits.

Obviously, this is a new hot button campaign issue that deserves the same serious analysis as the War in Iraq or Healthcare. What follows is a probing look into why Hillary Clinton wears Pantsuits and what it really means.

To understand Hillary's Pantsuit penchant, one must first understand Pantsuits themselves. A Pantsuit is simply some pants with a matching jacket worn by a woman. It could also be described as a man's suit worn by a woman, which then makes it a Pantsuit. It is unknown why they just don't call it a Woman's Suit. Hillary appears to enjoy a blue color when she wears one, more often than not.

The popularity of the Pantsuit has waxed and waned over the last hundred years or so. During the last half century the outfit has become a professional woman's mainstay wardrobe item. A recent Google search for the term returned over four hundred thousand web pages.

Why does Hillary like Pantsuits so much, you may ask? The answer is probably for the same reason men wear suits. First, it looks professional and is non-offensive. It is preferable to Hillary wearing a tank top that shows the "I love Bill" tattoo that she sports on her back.

The second reason for Hillary's insatiable appetite for Pantsuits is, again, the same as for men. They hide body fat. Every man or woman who dons a suit or Pantsuit will be able to hide the bulges that result from all of those business and campaign lunches. I don't think I am the only one who has noticed that Hillary has gained weight during the campaign. Hillary's Pantsuits help to disguise it.

I like Hillary's Pantsuits as they remind me of my own mother, who wore one every day of her professional business life. I also think that it is ridiculous for anyone to think that it is biased to joke about, or report upon, Hillary's fashion choices. On the other hand, referring to her weight gain might be more controversial.

Personally, I would rather vote for a Donkey in a Pantsuit than most of the politicians currently in office.

This was a Zane Waltz Opinion. Thank you for reading about Hillary Clinton's Pantsuits

Isn't it strange how the very women who wear pantsuits (to look like men) are the type of women who hate men. What pantsuit-wearing psychos. Yuk.
