"He's NOT even wearing a hat or name tag!" during these 2009 television commercials shown through the months of September-November so far this year. Most Papa John's employees would agree? "This is a complete outrage and insult" for anyone that works and delivers pizzas for this gigantic corporation, presently known as the third largest pizza franchise here in the U.S.A..
Founder Papa John Schnatter "even has the nerve" to drive his original pizza delivery vintage 1971 Camaro sports car, which he recently paid $250,000.00 during these 2009 T.V. commercials, ironically------ because it was the car he had to sell to begin his profitable business back in 1984 for the total amount of $2,800.----- "This guy has truly lost his mind!"
Papa John's managers are notoriously known and demanding for sending employee's (especially drivers) home, if they are not dressed properly in a professional business like manner, meeting Papa John's standards of dress codes which can be complicated at times? Nowadays----this means drivers and or any employee(s) are required to wear beige kacky (light brown) pants, properly issued company shirts, name tags and of course "a company hat".
"So where did the founder John Schnatter of Papa John's come up with the idea to wear blue jeans, with NO hat, un-tucked in shirt and look absolutely "sloppy "during his pizza deliveries regarding these 2009 T.V. commercials?" TOO much money and celebrity status is most likely the answer? In other words? "I just don't care anymore about this company or even the customers or better yet? these hard-working employed drivers!"
"Name tags and hats" are always required for any employee(s) while they are working on the clock in any Papa John's fast food pizza delivery restaurant. (none of these companies have a dine-in location for some strange reason?). Historic founder John Schnatter is un-caringly shown in his 2009 T.V. commercials wearing blue jeans? However, "wearing blue jeans and NO name tag at anytime during this companies employment is a complete NO, NO and grounds for immediate termination!"
Nowadays of November 2009, Papa John's employees are required to wear simple white company T-Shirts with name tags, which have a red border around the collar and sleeve. This particular cotton shirt also has the Papa John's logo on the front and back. Drivers also have the choice of wearing the lifelong "golf shirts" of either red or green which has a (3) three button down collar along with the beige kacky pants.
In the past? Papa John's employees wore a purple, green, brown and sometimes yellow button down shirt. But, were never allowed to wear blue jeans at anytime? This particular clothing is provided by the company at the beginning of your employment. They also provide you with a hat, which John is strangely NOT wearing during his T.V. commercials, which I believe is rather "rude" regarding his employed drivers.
Internet rumors over the years have also speculated that John Schnatter (founder) was nearly fired because of his non-caring spending corporation monies which at the time of 2009 seems to be a time-less battle between him being CEO and the fact that he owns 51% stockholder shares in the company. His title and position of this company seems to go back and forth throughout this past decade.
John Schnatter founder of Papa John's famous pizza delivery here in the U.S.A honestly looks likes he's having a great time! During his modern day 2009 T.V. commercials, he should after he has spent one-quarter million dollars to retrieve his famous 1971 Chevrolet Camaro as shown in the T.V. commercials during this declining un-employed 2009 economy? Unfortunately not caring about how many dedicated employees or money losing corporate share-holders are watching these T.V. commercials?
