Easy Confetti
Confetti serves a purpose in several occasions whether they be formal or casual in nature. Purchasing confetti isn't necessarily expensive, but it is much cheaper to make your own at home. With experimentation, you can create a type of confetti for any event imaginable, using a wide range of paper materials.

Gather the following materials to make your own easy confetti at home: five sheets of tissue paper in various colors, scissors, silk ribbon rolls, paper-hole-puncher and one sheet of colored metallic paper. These materials can easily be obtained at a department store, craft supply shop or online.

Layer the colored sheets of tissue paper and metallic paper over one another evenly. Punch several holes throughout the layers of paper and catch the resulting discs of colored paper with a basket or other receptacle. Use the scissors to cut the rest of the paper into small squares and triangles.

Easy confetti made at home can be customized according to your own needs. For example, you can create large chunks of confetti or very small pieces. The colors you use also depend on the occasion at which the confetti will be used. White, pink and red are colors that are suitable for weddings, anniversaries, Valentine's Day and other romantic events. Rainbow colored confetti is ideal for birthday celebrations.

Easy Paper Corsage
Aside from homemade, cheap confetti you can make a cute and feminine floral accent for a casual party experience. Paper corsages may sound cheap, but they can be customized to look quite attractive and serve as creative crafts that can be made by and for people of all ages.

Gather the following materials to create a flirty paper corsage: three sheets of colored tissue paper, fuzzy pipe-cleaners, spray craft adhesive, loose colored glitter and a safety pin.

Layer the three sheets of colored tissue paper evenly. Fold the layered tissue paper from one end to the other like you would fold a paper fan. Click here to view how to fold a paper fan.

Wrap a single pipe cleaner around the center of the folded paper layers. Wrap the pipe cleaner around the center several times until it is nothing more than a fuzzy wire ring around the paper.

Separate the layers of tissue paper at each end of folded paper. Pull the top and bottom layers of the paper out farther than the middle layers of paper. This conceals the pipe-cleaner ring in the middle while giving the structure the appearance of being a grandiose flower.

Spray the canned craft adhesive lightly over the surface of the tissue-paper flower. Sprinkle about a handful of loose colored glitter over the surface of the flower. Do this very lightly, holding your hand about two feet above the flower to get all-over coverage with the glitter pieces.

After the decorated tissue flower has dried for 20 minutes, it can be attached to the front of your outfit with a safety pin. Alternatively, it can be glued to a bangle bracelet or wristlet to become a wrist corsage.
