Paper Depot does not stock paper alone. They have a fantastic selection of rubber stamps. If you need a heart, a seashell, or a teddy bear, they will have it. They also have numerous stamp pads and embossing powders. Other accessories that they stock include paper punches. This is one of my new favorite accessories. It is a small metal and plastic device that cuts out the shape of your chosen object onto paper or cardstock. Cardstock works especially well. I chose a palm tree for my save the date cards and it worked great. The only problem was it was a little tough to punch. Really, though, for the price of less than $4, I can not complain. They have a number of different punches including palm trees, hearts, swirls, and sand dollars. They also have emboss hand tools. This tool does not punch the paper, but rather shapes it to add a small impression on the paper surface. This also works especially well on cardstock. Their selection of emboss hand tools is not as good as their stamps or punches, but they do have a half dozen designs or so, including hearts and swirls. Other craft related items at this store include stickers, scissors, hole punchers, and ribbon. They have a huge wall of ribbon in many great designs. The store also has a section of small boxes and bags, perfect for small gifts to put on the tables at a wedding reception. They also have small cards for place holders.
Paper Depot also features classes to learn how to make your own invitations and announcements. They hold classes regularly in their craft room in the back. They have many tools to use, and of course, all the paper you ever needed right at your disposal. Even if you do not like to take classes, they have numerous displays throughout the store showing off samples of wedding invites, shower invites, or baby announcements. This is a great way to get ideas and inspiration. Paper Depot also has a paper cutting service. They do not print invites, but they have a list of the places in town that will print for you. They also give you ideas of which papers they sell work in whatever printer you may personally own. Plan to spend at least an hour in this store! There is so much to look at.
Check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
