Paper Plate Poinsettia - a Christmas Craft for Children

Christmas holidays are right around the corner and making crafts with your children is always a wonderful way to make good memories. This craft project is a fun and easy way to make them with your children.

Here are the supplies that you will needed:

* A paper plate
* Red, green and yellow construction paper
* Safety Scissors
* Glue stick or a stapler

If desired they can use glitter or water color paints to decorate them the way they would like.

Instructions:

Have your children trace their hands on red and green paper construction paper and cut them out.

Then they can glue or staple a circle of green hand print tracings (fingers pointing outwards) around the outside of the plate.

Next they can glue or staple a second circle of red hand print tracings (fingers pointing outwards) just inside the first circle.

Next they can glue or staple a third circle of red hand print tracings at the center of the plate.

Next they can glue a small yellow paper circle in the center.

If you would like to hang the paper plate poinsettia you may want to make a hole at the top.
