Howell, MI 48843
United States of America
The expo is being hosted by Paranormal Researchers in Southeast Michigan (PRISM for short), and has been in the works for over a year now. The event will bring with it the opportunity to meet a well-known name in the paranormal field as well. The featured guest speaker for the day will be Patrick Burns, one of the co-stars of TruTvs "Haunting Evidence", a show that uses two psychic profilers and a paranormal investigator (Patrick Burns), to try to find out more information about missing persons or murder cases that are unsolved. Patrick Burns has been in the paranormal field for many years, starting his own group, Ghosthounds, which has become one of the most-viewed paranormal-related websites on the internet.
Other guest speakers include Author James Willis, co-author of "Weird Ohio", Michigan's own Ghostly Talk, a paranormal radio show, Lisa J. Smith, a gifted spiritual medium and radio show host, and other guest speakers who will be discussing paranormal topics on how to use equipment properly when investigating, methods and protocols, and other ghost hunting topics. There will also be a panel discussion, allowing the guest speakers to debate and discuss the chosen paranormal topic with each other.
The event's organizers saw a lack of paranormal conventions in Michigan and decided it was time for Michigan to have a convention of it's own. This is one of the largest conventions of it's type to be held in Michigan, and PRISM hopes that this will set a continuing trend for this area. So far, the reception has been good and tickets have been selling well, for both people wanting to attend and those wishing to purchase a vendor table for the event. Pre-registration is encouraged, as there is a limit on the amount of attendees for the conference. You can pre-register and pay for you ticket ahead of time, and also purchase an expo t-shirt that can be picked up the day of the event. There will be a dinner break during the event, but dinner is not included in the price of the event. Tickets for the expo are $30.00 each, with discounts for couples and groups of 6 or more people registering at one time. Vendor tables cost $50.00 and include one pass to the expo.
