Parenting is critical as well as complex in nature and it is the most difficult job while parenting teens .Teenager is always full flow of energy as a sprawling river, and can get out the path or the boundaries, unless you keep strict vigil. They are just like a kite; if you give slight free they can be seen in neighbour's roof.

Positive attitude - Parenting a Teenager
A youngster passes through a very delicate and tender phase of like, when they are neither a child nor full grown up. They should always be taught to think, act, react and behave in a positive manner. Positive attitude will help them to face and solve their troubles in a much matured manner. Positive attitude will give them inner strength and the courage to react to external stimuli.

Good Education - Parenting a Teenager
In this difficult and global recession times what will come to handy to these youngster or teenager is proper education. Education will be the back bone for these young adults and will shape their future course of life. With a sound and solid educational background they need not look back, but lead a life of containment and satisfaction.

Between learning and youth nothing should come in between. Most important aspect of life of these young adults is formal education. This will lay solid foundation for the young people.

Character - Parenting a Teenager
Money is lost can be recovered, health is lost can be built later but Character is lost is every thing is lost. Therefore youngster should built character, they should not indulge in other activates. I have learned in life that your good deeds and character will remain ever with you. People and society will remember and judge you by your conduct and actions only. So don't ever tarnish your character and image.

Empathy - Parenting a Teenager
As a parent we should teach these youngsters to have empathy, sympathy and respect towards elders and senior citizens. They should always help sick and diseased people.

Respect - Parenting a Teenager
We as a parent should respect their feelings and their desires. If we show respect to their feelings they too will reciprocate. As an adolescent they pass through sea of feelings towards the world around them. Their attitude, mindset, stance, outlook too be respected. This is the phase most youth face many turbulences in life, they are in a learning process, and we as a parent should take a sympathetic approach, but simultaneously be cautious and watchful to see that they don't land in troubles.

Sex - Parenting a Teenager
Sex is a very delicate and a debatable issue. I am not being old fashioned or traditional parent, but want to emphasis that teenage sex is not advisable. Whole life is in front of the teenagers to enjoy and indulge sex and the finer aspects of life.

This is the phase when they should mature physically and establish themselves in life. Youth are the back bone of any society, they should build their career, choice their profession and try to do some thing constructive for the society and the country.

Through out the world teenage pregnancy, teenage and single mother as well as stress due to premature child birth, stigma and dishonor has been rampantly spreading in the society. Youth are bringing disgrace to themselves as well as to their parents.

Therefore it is my appeal to youths to think twice before acting. You have such a wonderful and enjoyable life in front of you, why to spoil it.

In an unavoidable and uncontrollable emotion if arises, please use condom to protect yourself as well as to your partner.

Drugs - Parenting a Teenager
My earnest and sincere appeal to all the youth and teenagers, Say "No to Drugs". Drugs will and doesn't help any one. It is a death trap. Why waste your life.

Therefore parenting teenager requires lot of patience, calmness, Vigil, and sympathetic approach. If as a parent we can guide them in right, correct and virtuous path ,then fifty percentage of parenting job is over.
