This is the best of guide to your to-go bag needs. This guide will help you put a bag together, without forgetting anything g important. I keep all these items together in my car, and on the go, believe me they come in handy!

Picking a To-Go Bag

First you need to pick a bag that is not real big, or even a diaper bag, but one that is a good to- go bag. A bag with a lot of compartments , which will make it more convenient for you and the members of the family to find things needed. I would put a bright colored bag into consideration, so it will be easily seen, therefor easy to find.

Items Needed for your To-Go Bag

Hand Sanitizer
Who doesn't love or need hand sanitizer? I love to have hand sanitizer when I am out and about. This is one item I have In my bag at all times. Great for when you are out shopping, at the park, and so much more! It is only about one dollar at most stores!

Chap stick
Chap sticks also come in handy in many situations. Every type of weather, chap stick is needed. Great to protect against sun in summer, the icy breeze in winter, etc. I like to get one for every member of my family, also one or two extras for guests, in my bag. I like to take a permanent marker and write initials on each one, so no germs are spread during cold and flu season. You can get these chap sticks for one dollar at a Dollar Store.

Brush
A fold up brush comes in handy for mostly the women in the family. Having one in your to-go bag always comes in handy everywhere, especially on windy days! Great for touch ups. They only cost a dollar from the dollar store.

Snacks
Now which kid does not want snacks all the time? I know mine do and a lot of others kids do. So don't forget to put some non- perishable items in your to-go bag. This kind of item will need to be kept up on more regularly, but if you get little individual snack packs and they should last a while. Also bottled waters to go with the snacks . Great for really hot days, to keep from getting heat stroke, or after a kids soccer game, any possibility could come up that you may need water! Hunger creeps up and you don't want to be unprepared, at least till you get home!

Flashlights
Be sure to keep a flashlight or three in your to-go bag. On the go it will come in handy in case you break down would be the number one reason, but also for kids reading on a road trip , or any other thing that might come up. Don't forget extra batteries and bulbs. A flashlight is an item you can get under five dollars at most stores.

Emergency Contacts
It is always a good idea to keep emergency contacts and health information on hand for any situation that presents itself! So this is a very important item to have ready in the to-go bag!

These are all the best -of items to have in a to-go bag. This bag will make you feel safe any time you leave the house. Start on your bag as soon as you can , so you are not unprepared in any sticky situation!
