The Paris Poker Room is One of the Top Rooms in All of Las Vegas

Themed casinos are all the rage in Las Vegas these days. Sometimes, serious poker players can be scared of the poker rooms at these themed casinos as they think of them as being something of a joke. There is one themed casino; however, that has a very nice poker room. On my latest trip to Las Vegas, I found the Paris Casino poker room to be among the nicest rooms on the entire Strip. With its quality ambiance, easy competition, and talented staff, there is never a reason to complain after your trip to the Paris Casino.

The poker room itself is outfitted appropriately for players who like modern comforts. It is located right in the middle of the casino, meaning that the Paris poker room is a place where action is all around the players. There is a very popular bar called Gustav's that sits right next to the poker area and that makes for a nice break when play gets too stressful. The tables at the Paris poker room have some of the softest and nicest felt in all of Las Vegas. The tables are not especially new or lavish, but they make play very enjoyable. Recently, this casino upgraded their setup to place a couple extra plasma-screen televisions on the wall. These new additions make this place even better than it was when I went.

Like most poker areas that are located within a larger casino, the play at the Paris poker room is fairly soft. Players are attracted to the poker room from the nearby bar and from the slot machines surrounding the poker area. This leads to many novice players who inhabit the popular $1/$2 no-limit game at the Paris. If you are in the mood for some limit poker, then the $3/$6 limit game might be your style. Regardless of this choice, players should find success with the seemingly low level of play in this casino.

Tournaments are a great reason to make your way into the Paris casino. Twelve $60 buy-in tournaments run daily and offer some of the most interesting play in the entire city. The staff at the Paris seems to love to run these tournaments and keeps them running smoothly. Playing in any of these, which run all day, will make for some good times.

If you want a place to enjoy yourself and some solid poker play, head to the Paris. The folks there know how to take care of their players and the cocktail service is some of the best around. You will never be thirsty and solid players should leave with more money than they started with.
