Paris Hilton Arrested on Cocaine Charges
The 29 year old heiress and her club mogul boyfriend were booked into the Clark county jail for possession of cocaine. Hilton was then released early Saturday morning without bail.
Though it is unclear how much cocaine Hilton had in her possession she is being charged with a felony. If convicted of the low-grade felony, Hilton would only get probation. However, any violation of her probation could result in a jail sentence of one to four years.
Hilton's boyfriend remains held pending a court appearance on DUI charge while her court date remains uncertain.
The Hilton heiress made headlines earlier this week when a man allegedly tried to break into her Los Angeles home. Earlier this summer Hilton was arrested in South Africa on marijuana related charges that were later dropped at a midnight hearing.
Paris Hilton is no stranger to the law. In 2007 she pleaded no contest to alcohol related reckless driving charges and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. She was released after 23 days at which time she appeared on Larry King Live claiming she was a changed woman.
