Paris Hilton Now Faces Jail, No More Probations

Rachel Bogart
Once again, Paris Hilton still can not defy the law. The Hilton Hotel heiress has been found by L.A. Sheriff's office and the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office to be in violation of the terms of her recently instated probation. This could force Hilton to spend up to a whopping 90 days in a minimum security jail.

On February 27, 2007, Paris Hilton was found speeding down Sunset Boulevard at about 11 pm with her headlights off. Oscar Butao, LA Sheriff's spokesman, said her driving was reckless and clearly violated her probation. When being pulled over in her 2007 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible, officers discovered that Hilton was driving on a suspended license. Last September, Hilton was arrested for a DUI. For her DUI arrest, she pleaded no contest for a lesser charge of alcohol induced driving on January 22nd, and was then placed on a 36 months probation.

Hilton's spokesman told the prss that he and she were unaware that her license was suspended. However, Nick Velasquez, spokesman for the LA City Attorney's Office, said that there is sufficient evidence to prove that both Paris Hilton and her spokesman knew of the suspension, and she still continued to drive.

It is expected that the law will no longer dole out probations to Hilton, but instead sentence her to up to 90 days in jail. A hearing for her case has been scheduled for April 17th, 2007.

I hope she goes to jail, after all the horrible things she has done to people through racism, hatred, and spoiltness!
