Nobody envy's what Paris Hilton has or how she looks or how young she is. Especially about how she looks; there are thousands of very beautiful girls and women in California alone. There are beautiful young girls and women in my family, not rich, but beautiful. I am not saying they are beautiful because they are in my family. They are beautiful. And we are not talking about a young teen age girl. We are talking about a fully grown woman. Paris Hilton is 26 years old.
The news and others should stop the nonsense about "it's just because she's young and beautiful and rich that people want her in jail." What people want to see; is justice for all. Regardless of how beautiful or how unattractive you think a person is; no matter how rich, or how famous or how poor a person is; No matter what the color of your is, or your nationally. There should be the same set of rules for all. Justice should not work for some; justice should work for all. Justice does not work for all.
The anger and outburst is not against Paris Hilton. She only broke the law. She doesn't enforce the law. She has no control over the justice system. Nobody is jumping up and down saying "Paris Hilton is going to jail!" What people are saying is that if a beautiful poor girl was in violation of probation, and behaved the way Miss Hilton and her mother behaved in court. That beautiful poor girl would probably be in jail. Locked up. Who knows the mother probably would have been charged with contempt of court; had she been poor.
We need justice to work for all. People are angry and outraged because, Paris Hilton is getting special treatment, because she is rich and famous. The media are talking about the crowded jails. In that case, why not let someone out that has served most of their time. All I'm saying is let the rules apply to all.
Three years ago my son was crossing the street at the cross walk. A car hit him and kept going. Someone else helped him get to the hospital. Luckily his injuries were not serious. His leg was in a cast for a couple of weeks. We do not know if this was a drunk driver or not. The driver got away with it.
If a member of your family is seriously injured or worst killed by a drunk driver. Would you feel better if the drunk driver was beautiful? I shall think not.
For all the people that are saying; people are jealous of Miss Hilton because she has what they don't have. How ridiculous! People are fed up with drunk drivers on the road. People don't want to come into contact with drunk drivers. Nobody wants to lose loved ones to a drunk driver. For all of Paris Hilton's fans; how would you feel if she lost her own life while driving drunk. That would be very sad. Wouldn't it? Let's try to save Paris Hilton and others from drunk driving.
Nobody envy Paris Hilton. We want a justice that works for everyone. Like I said before; this is not about Paris Hilton. This is about all people being treated equal. Maybe some people think there should be different laws for the rich and the poor; however, majority of the people want equal justice.
Paris Hilton was caught twice driving with a suspended license. At least one once, she was speeding with her lights off. Her license was suspended because of a drunken driving conviction. She refused to comply with any of the Judges orders.
Therefore when she appeared before the judge; she was sentenced to 45 days in jail. The Judge clearly stated no home confinement, no two for one credits; and no early release. Her sentence was shortened even more before she checked into jail; I believe it was shortened to 22 days.
Yesterday, approximately, three days after she checked herself in to serve her sentence. The sheriff, not the judge, sent Miss Hilton home with an ankle brace to serve her remaining sentence at home. They gave her home detention.
The judge ordered Miss Hilton back to court this morning; because he did not order the release. He wants explanations on what are the undisclosed medical problems and why Miss Hilton was released from jail. Paris Hilton did not show up. She requested to testy by phone. The judge said no. He ordered Miss Hilton to court. The judge sent two deputies to pick her up. Standard procedures. Even though she was at home. She was still in custody. When a person is in custody, in jail; the deputy drives them back and forth to court. Same thing applies when one is under house arrest. You are still in custody.
What is wrong with the L. A. Sherriff department? Telling the judge they are not going to pick up Miss Hilton. Did they say that they didn't take orders from the judge? The judge wears the robe. Is the sheriff department trying to over power the judge order? I thought what the judge says goes. It is the judge's court room. This is what all the outrage is about. Our justice system. Does justice just work for some? I know I'm over using the phrase. But this is really the problem. When the judge gives an order; what gives the sheriffs the right to say; no I'm not going to do this? The sheriff clearly over stepped their bonds.
Today, the judge ordered Paris Hilton back to jail; immediately to finish serving out her sentence. Was this fair? I believe it was. Paris Hilton needs to accept responsibility for her actions. The judge stuck by his orders. He was not informed of her release.

Some just don't know how good they have it...! :D
Great article!! Paris Hilton is a spoiled little brat.
Poor, poor Paris. :-O Ha.
Poor Paris - UGH! I can't stand her.
I'm surprised there has been so much publicity over Paris Hilton. But it goes along with the fame.

All this fuss over three weeks in county jail?? As if it's going to break her! Her sentance was already generously light; the least she could do is serve it gracefully. The Sheriff was completely out of line to second-guess the judge. What's *his* punishment going to be I wonder?
Paris Hilton is everywhere! AHHHHH! Great reporting!
Great article - so she's back in? Good going Judge - I agree it should be about justice and I'm sorry for what you went through but glad your son is OK.
