Paris Hilton Owns a Purse Identical to the One She "borrowed" from a Friend

Paris Hilton is taking quite a beating the past few days due to her recent arrest in Las Vegas, where she was charged with felony possession of cocaine. David Letterman called her an idiot, The Wynn Resorts in Vegas have banned her, and her boyfriend was dismissed as a nightclub partner. I guess there really isn't honor among thieves.

Today, RadarOnline is reporting that Paris tweeted a photograph of a new Coco Chanel purse she had bought back in July. What's the problem? Well, it seems the purse is exactly like the one she was busted with in Las Vegas. The one that she had "borrowed from a friend" which had the cocaine in it that she thought was gum. Awkward.

On the upside, police failed to give Paris a blood test. Which means, they have no evidence, other than the cocaine of course, found in the purse that is not, ahem, hers, to prove she was under the influence of any drugs, like, I don't know, maybe cocaine? But, anyway.

Whether Paris Hilton will actually see the inside of another jail cell will remain to be seen. There is no doubt that Paris's family is wealthy and powerful and has connections. One would think that our judicial system is getting quite weary of over-indulged celebrities who feel they only need to hire the right attorney and grease the palms of the right person to avoid facing any jail time for their offenses.

Certainly, O.J. Simpson had a come to Jesus moment in the state of Nevada when he was arrested and charged with robbery and kidnapping. He now sits in a Nevada prison serving a nine to thirty-three year sentence. Lindsay Lohan got smacked around a little bit too, with the judge that presided over her recent case.

But, will Paris Hilton have her own come to Jesus moment? Only time will tell, I guess. For now, though, she's got some serious 'splainin' to do.
