Paris Hilton: Pleas to the Governor

Paris Hilton: Plea to the Governor

There's a petition online for Paris Hilton's fans to sign. The petition is to free Paris Hilton. The petition says Paris Hilton don't belong in jail because she provides help for young people all over the world; and because she's beautiful and gives young people all over the world hope.

Hope for what? Hope to drink and drive? Hope to drive with a suspended license? Hope that after being before the judge three times; that they will get a pat on the wrist and sent out of the court room; to break the law again? That is not the kind of hope to spread to young people.

I say, accept responsibility for your actions, Miss Hilton. If you are claiming to give help and hope to young people. Tell them to accept responsibility for their actions. And when it comes to driving, tell them to read the manual and learn the rules of driving.

Miss Hilton is either acting or she don't understand how serious drinking and driving really is. She feels the sentence is unfair and she is only being treated like this because she is rich, famous, and beautiful.

News flash, Paris Hilton, and all of her fans; there are so many young, rich, beautiful, and talented young women in Hollywood. There are also countless numbers of young, beautiful and some are even talented; women that are not rich and famous; driving on the highways. I would not want to come into contact with any of them on the highways; if they are drinking and driving.

It is not OK to break the law no matter how rich or how poor one may be. No matter how beautiful or how ugly one may be. I have two beautiful daughters and five beautiful granddaughters. I always taught them not to drink and drive and not to ride in an automobile with anyone who is drinking and driving.

Paris Hilton, and her mother, and her attorney are sending very bad messages to young drivers.

Paris Hilton needs to take responsibility for her actions. Maybe she should have respected the original orders of the judge. Community service doesn't hurt anyone. Twelve hours in an alcoholic education program couldn't hurt anyone. Driving with a suspended license is a big no, no. Especially when you are on probation for an alcoholic related misdemeanor.

People are getting killed by drunk drivers. Does anyone believe if a person loses a loved one, that it would matter if the drunk driver was young and beautiful and famous. This is not about the rich and famous. This is about a driver ignoring the conditions of her probations. This is about a driver who violated her probation. She didn't complete even, one thing that she was supposed to do; while she was on probation. This is about a driver who admits she don't understand that she was not suppose to drive with a suspended license. Rich, beauty, and fame, should not have been brought into the picture. Paris Hilton was given many chances. This is all about violating her probation, not about the rich being treated unfairly.

The last time Miss Hilton was stopped by the officers, she was driving approximately 70 miles an hour, down Sunset Boulevard; with her head lights off.

There is another petition online to send Paris Hilton to jail. I wouldn't sign either one of the petitions. I would just love to see all drunk drivers off the highways. If you've been drinking, don't drive, no matter who you are. The life you save could be your own, or the life of your loved ones.

Paris DOES need to go to jail. Maybe it will help her grow up and learn that life is more than just party time.
