Paris, Texas, Religious Tolerance Fundraiser, Events

These days there are a lot of religions and a lot of different views, the one thing that tends to irk me the most is no one lets anyone express their views freely. That is why the New Moon Wiccan Church in Paris, Texas, is holding a fundraiser for both their church and Christians in Action on June 20, 2010, at the flea market off Highway 271. It will be from 10 a. .m to 6 p.m. that Sunday; they are going to donate all perishable food items and clothing they receive to Christians in action and half of the money they raise.

The other half of the funds will go to New Moon Wiccan Church so they can continue their efforts to support religious tolerance and help give back to the community they live in. They have been around since November of 2009 and are moving forward in a very positive direction. Although they are not widely accepted they hope to be accepted at some point in the future.

The fundraiser will consist of a bake sale, and donated goods from the local businesses will be raffled off and there will be a motorcycle contest and much more going on that day. New Moon Wiccan Church is just proud of who they are and want to help others in need and show their support to the Christian community and help those who need it. Christians in action is a Christian based operation that has both a men's and women's shelter they get donations and give them to those in need and New Moon Wiccan Church just wants to show their consideration and admiration to Christians in action while receiving help to promote religious tolerance.
