Paris Village Bakery in Suwanee, Georgia

I Love Paris in the Fall

Karen Francis
I had the opportunity to visit the Paris Village Bakery in Suwanee, Georgia recently for a birthday celebration. We were celebrating Mrs. Ashlee Mack Gadson, the owner of Snazzy Events which is a Global company that organizes special events such as Anniversaries, Birthdays, Weddings as well as Corporate affairs.

Paris Village Bakery is located at 3370 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, #110, Suwanee, Georgia 30024. The minute you walk in the doors, you will feel as though you have left Georgia and stepped into a quaint little bakery in the heart of Paris. The walls are covered with beautiful brick and wrought iron lanterns and pendants that seem to welcome you right in to explore more. The decor is lovely with touches of wicker chairs with linen covered cushions as well as leather parson chairs paired with deep chocolate tables for your sitting pleasure. While you dine you will hear a mix of music from classical to soft rock and top 40. Once you get past the lovely decor you'll be ready to check out the offerings.

Paris Village Bakery has so many selections of breads and baguettes that you'll have trouble deciding on whether to try the Red Bean Croissant or that fresh baked cream puff. Paris Village Bakery is opened from Monday-Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast you can try their tasty veggie brioche or perhaps a egg white Croissant with a side of seasonal fruit. They have the best choices of hot and cold sandwiches and some of the best tofu and other natural ingredients that I've ever tried. The lunch and dinner menu is currently under construction as the chef is looking to make the menu consistent, so feel free to give them a call at 770-831-9093 before you go to see what they are serving that day.

The Paris Village Bakery has great breakfast and lunch offerings but their desserts are fantastic! We had a fruit cake that was made with yellow cake batter and filled with pineapples, blueberries, strawberries and raspberries topped with butter cream icing. This cake was so moist that it almost melted in your mouth and the fruit was so fresh and naturally sweet. This was one of the best cakes I have had in years. It was so good that a group of 4 ladies completely devoured it in one sitting. The other desserts (cakes, cupcakes, croissants) include coconut, chocolate, fruit fillings and cheese just to name a few. Along with wonderful food and baked treats, they have a large selection of hot teas, coffee and their special bubble teas which come in a variety of flavors that include coconut, strawberry, green tea and mango, just to name a few.

Bottom-line: Price point: $4.00 to $10.00, Excellent food, close to shopping and entertainment.
