Park Slope Brooklyn Animal Foster Network Now Closed
Neighborhood: Park Slope
Brooklyn, NY 11215

It is sad to report that the Brooklyn Animal Foster Network (BAFN) will be closed indefinitely due to lack in funds. The non-profit corporation helped find foster homes for abused and abandoned animals. They provided medical attention to helpless animals and spay or neuter them as well.

BAFN encouraged the community to volunteer and allowed high school students to complete their community service hours. They are currently holding adoption events at John Jay High School and need volunteers who are willing to transport animals to these events. Anyone interested in volunteering can fill out an application form here.

The organization has run out of resources and will have to suspend their volunteer programs. This valuable Park Slope service will resume if BAFN can raise $5000. Donations are tax deductible and can be made here. They can also be mailed to 214 21st Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
