The Park Slope Civic Council will host a walk along Fourth Avenue to discuss how prospective changes could possibly affect commuters. The walk will be on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 9:30 a.m. under the subway underpass on Ninth Street and Fourth Avenue. In the event of rain, it will be rescheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 7.
According to the Park Slope Civic Council, guest speakers at this event will include Community Board 6 District Manager Craig Hammerman, Park Slope Neighbors founder Eric McClure, and the president of the Park Slope Civic Council. Come discuss how construction is affecting the neighborhood and address the possibility of a community garden on Fourth Avenue.
