Park Slope Racist Litterer Arrested
Neighborhood: Park Slope
Brooklyn, NY 11215

The man who had been littering Park Slope with strips of paper that read "KILL JEWS" has been arrested in Long Island. According to the police, cab driver Demestrios Apolonides was the one dropping these slips along his route. The strips were found along Sixth Avenue in Park Slope.

It is unclear whether Apolonides' hate filled actions were linked to the recent racist graffiti found on a call box on Second Street near Prospect Park West. The call box reads, "Geese first, Jews next." A picture of the call box can be found here in the Brooklyn Paper.

Demestrios Apolonides has yet to be charged, but could serve up to four years in jail if convicted, according to the Brooklyn Paper.
