Park Slope's Lucas Fine Foods Shuttered but Relocating

Residents may have noticed that Lucas Fine Foods at 847 Union Street between 6th and 7th Avenue is now closed. The store offered gourmet-to-go food created by Chef Misty Kurpier.

Lucas Fine Foods had just opened up in May, but it has already shut its doors. A sign posted on the storefront says that they are relocating and customers can still contact Lucas Fine Foods for catering and delivery at www.lucasfinefoods.com.

The store was also the production facility for Ample Hills Creamery ice cream, but the creamery recently signed a lease for their own shop on Vanderbilt Avenue and St. Marks according to their Facebook page.
