Parking and Parking Permits in Royal Oak

Parking does have to be a hassle in Royal Oak if you take advantage of the three parking structures and on- and off-street metered parking, some of which has specifically been designated for Amtrak parking. The rates are at the parking structures are reasonable, with the two attended structures charging $0.50 per hour (which you don't have to pay for the first two hours) until 5:00 PM, and a flat rate of $3.00 after that. The unattended structure, located at 4th and Lafayette requires you to purchase a parking card.

You can take advantage of an Amtrak parking pass for $5.00 per day when you are using the designated Amtrak metered spaces. You don't pay this fee on Sundays, and on certain holidays.
