Setting up shop in April of 2007, Parsons Auto Restoration, Ltd. specializes in the complete restoration of a vehicle from the frame, up. Parsons explained, "Every nut, every bolt, every single piece of the car is taken apart and restored the way it was originally produced.
From a Model "A" Ford to the 1930's Packard and into the muscle car era, Parsons can restore any vehicle to its former glory. "When we work on a restoration job, we spend many hours researching how these parts were produced," Parsons said. "And of course, the customer is often our best source of information."
"I worked for 18 years at Loxley Brothers Body Shop in Beavercreek," Parsons noted. "Then I spent three more years working for another car restoration company." Today Parsons works alongside his father, Ralph, who is the company's mechanic. Parsons also employs George Bowman who brings with him 35 years of experience as a metal technician, fabricator and welder.
The Parsons team also applies those combined skills required to return a classic car to its original showroom state to the performance of most types of collision repair. Parsons Auto Restoration, Ltd. offers complete collision repair services and welcomes insurance claim work. In addition, Parsons can also provide general maintenance and service.
Located at 3775 Centerville Road, just east of Ferry Road outside the City of Bellbrook, the facility is somewhat off the beaten path. "It's not the most convenient location," Parsons said, "but it is worth the trip because of the quality of work we can offer."
"We chose this location because it's close to home and there had been a restoration facility in this shop for 30 years before," Parsons explained. I do 90 percent of the work myself and I am very proud of what I put my name on." For more information, contact Parsons Auto Restoration, Ltd. by calling (937) 848-4770.
