Part of Nature

C. Love
I hear you in the rain as it beats against my window
I hear your voice as the wind blows the leaves and bends the grass
I pick up your scent as I navigate through the early morning fog
I can feel you as the sun rises to warm the surface of the earth
As high tide rolls in, I hear your heart call out though you made no sound
I taste you in every snowflake that melts on my tongue
With every acorn that falls from the trees, I feel your fingertips tracing my skin
While walking by moonlight, your shadow walks along side me
You are a very part of the earth from which we've been created
Though we're apart, the nature that embraces me daily is you and you it.
As my senses experience the world around me, I'm experiencing you

Wow. Your words provide vivid imagery. I really like this one as well. My favorite line is, "While walking by moonlight, your shadow walks along side me".
