Part-Time Jobs from Home

Every one wants a way to earn more money. Wouldn't it be great to earn more money at home? Many people thing the only jobs you can do at home or either direct sales or scams. There are in fact many legitimate jobs that can be done from the comfort of your own home. Many people find that the jobs from home pay less than jobs outside the house. While this may be true for your gross income, there are several other factors to consider when determining your net salary. There are several expenses that you will no longer have to pay for while working at home. These include work clothes, child care, and gas. An advantage to people looking for part-time employment are many at home jobs allow you to determine your own schedules, if you need a day off to go to the doctor or can't work at a certain time due to having to pick your kids up from daycare- its no problem since you are in a way your own boss.

The following companies hire at home workers to be independent contractors. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for withdrawing your own taxes and paying the self-employment taxes. (www.irs.gov has several forms to assistance you in determining what to withhold) Each of these jobs have certain minimum requirements so make sure that your system in compatible with their work needs.

BabytoBee - Babytobee is an outbound lead generation company. As an independent contractor you would be contacting moms and dads whom have registered to get free items on their webpage. Compensation is 10.00 an hour plus bonuses. Minimum hours per week are 25.

West West is an inbound, call-taking company. Training is unpaid taking between 2-10 days depending on personal pace, Minimum hours depend on the particular line you are working. The per minute rate can range from .17c to .30c. There are two lines that pay a guaranteed hourly rate. Compensation will vary with the number of hours you work and the call volume.

LiveOps Live-ops is also an inbound call-taking company. Training is also unpaid consisting of several different quizzes. Live-ops requires a $30.00 fee for background check;however, many agents say that you earn that back within the first three hours. Typical agents can earn between $6.00 to $15.00 dollars an hour depending on experience and call volume.

NewsStand- Newstand hires independent contractors to do external proof reading. There is no training period required. There are no minimum hours required. Compensation is a fixed 12 cents per page.

ChaCha- You are paid to assist people in doing web searches using an instant messaging system. Training is unpaid and consists of some sample searches to help learn the system. Pay varies between $5.00 and $10.00 an hour depending upon experience in search terms. You are only paid for the time you are searching. In order to begin working with ChaCha, you must receive an invitation from a master search guide.

    Interesting article. I was very interested in one of the jobs but sadly, they aren't hiring at this time! I'm definitely going to keep it in mind though.
