The parties that I like to go have to be fun. I don't like parties that make you feel constricted or insecure about the people that you are around so you have to make sure that your guests have a lot of fun and feel comfortable especially around the holidays. Well as you can tell my favorite parties are themed. The first party that I would like to recognize as a theme is an Army theme, or a GI Joe Party. You can have a lot of fun with this party because everyone can dress in green where sandals so most people will be comfortable on their feet. For drinks you can have a liquored punch or Sangria to keep up with the Jungle theme. The tables can have a simple center piece with different types of food and you can have some fun with different types of music.
The second type of party that I would recommend is a Teams party which is easy because everyone has a favorite sports team and even if they don't have a favorite team someone is bound to make a shirt that says, ' Team Lo, Team Hiedi, Team Spencer, or Team Lauren". I like when the team parties have footballs, baseballs, and fun little sports to do around the house for fun. It will be easy to supply the party because all you need are some cases or beer, balloons, fun liquor drinks and if you want chicken wings, or you could even try and roast a pig.
The third type of party that I would recommend would be a Duct Tape Party. A Duct Tape Party is simple and cheap all your guests have to do is get an old white shirt and make clothes out of them. You can have a few permanent markers as the centerpiece and let them have fun with some fluorescent lighting. You can find a lot of different color duct tape at Wal-Mart and everyone will have a blast with this theme.
A theme that I desperately want to try is a Marie Antoinette party. I've thought of a few ideas and everyone would have to of course dress the part and wear wigs because I would hope for it to be all out. This parties appetizers would be simple because the platters would be small and intricate it would be really simple to assemble. The drink of the night would have to be a White Russian, or a dark red wine to keep the theme of the party.
I hope that I have given you have given you some great ideas for parties, and if you have anymore ideas that you think would be great feel free to share!
