Cinco De Mayo Guac!
2 small garlic cloves minced
¼ cup of cream cheese spread (Philadelphia)
2 T of lime juice
2 T finely chopped onion
1/8 t salt
Black Pepper to taste
Make It
Mix all the ingredients together until they are well blended
Serve with tortilla chips
Add cilantro & diced tomatoes on the top spice it up!
Jazzy Layered Dip Bean Dip
1 package of cream cheese dip (Philadelphia)
1 can of refried beans
1 can of Rottel (Get Green Chilies/Tomatoes), Drain
1 cup of Mexican Style Cheese
1 cup of canned beans, drained and rinsed
Make It
Spread softened cream cheese at the bottom of your dish
Add can of beans (drained), then refried beans, tomatoes, top with cheese
Serve with tortilla chips
Mexican Roll-Ups
½ cup of Mexican Cheese, finely shredded
¼ t chili powder
5 soft flour tortillas
3 T of Chunky salsa
4 oz of cream cheese (Philadelphia)
Make It
Mix the cream cheese and salsa together and then spread it onto the tortilla. Top it off with the remaining ingredients.
Roll it up tightly and then cup it up into ½ inch thick - to an 1 inch thick cuts.
Corn Salsa
2 Jalepeno peppers
¼ cup chopped cilantro
¼ cup finely cut red or sweet onions
1 can of salted corn
5 tomatoes
¼ cup of Italian dressing
Make It
Combine all the ingredients except for the dressing. Add dressing at the end.
Bomb Taco Salad
1 bag of Mexican cheese
1 large tomato diced
1 bag of already made salad
1 lb of ground beef
1 package of taco bell taco seasoning
Sour cream (dollop on top)
1 jar of Chunky Salsa
6 Hard taco shells
Make It
Cook the ground beef until browned and add the Taco Bell taco seasoning. In a medium bowl break up two taco shells. Add lettuce, tomatoes, and chunky salsa on the top. Once the ground beef has finished cooking add some to the top, and finish it off with a dollop of sour cream.
Frozen Sherbet Cake
1 Box of vanilla wafers
½ stick of butter or margarine
4 cups of lime sherbet
4 cups of orange sherbet
4 cups of raspberry sherbet
Make It
Preheat the oven to 350. Put your wafers in a zip top bag and squish all of the cookies. Mix wafers with butter/margarine until they are well blended. Press firmly at the bottom of your 13x9 pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Spread layers of the sorbet until you've run out. 1 flavor at a time, and then freeze it for four hours. Bring out and cut!
