Parvati Shallow Wins Survivor Micronesia: Fans Vs. Favorites

Emmy
As Survivor Micronesia came to a close last night, I'm sure many people were as surprised as I was that Parvati Shallow won the $1 million prize of sole survivor. I was dead set that Amanda was going to win, but I was wrong! I was so shocked that the jury picked Parvati, as she lied and manipulated a lot of the people on that jury. I think she might have been as shocked as everyone else!

When it came down to the final 3, I thought they could have picked a better immunity challenge. I thought that the challenge should have been a lot harder to accomplish. I'm sure that it wouldn't have been easy but usually they have a much harder challenge when it's down to the last 3 or 4 depending on the season! I think that if Cirie would have won the challenge, things would have went a lot differently and she may have been the sole survivor instead of Parvati!

After Amanda picked Parvati to come with her to the final two and the jury got to ask them questions, it got very interesting. I loved how Ozzie told Parvati off and it was very cute that he professed his love to Amanda. I also loved hearing what James had to say. He was pretty mad at Parvati as well, as anyone would have been. Like I said, Parvati made a lot of people mad so I am surprised that she won last night! I couldn't believe that Eliza had no idea who she was going to vote for, even after she asked them each a question. I didn't think that would be that hard to do, especially after she told Parvati that she knew she talked behind her back and made fun of her a lot during the show.

I was very happy that James won the $100,000 prize for favorite player of the season. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and very down to earth. From what he said on the reunion show, he loves to make people happy and especially since he deals with a lot of grieving people as a grave digger.

This was my favorite season of Survivor so far. There was a record number of blindsides and a record number of people forced off of the show without being voted out. It kept things interesting and kept you wanting to watch it all season! I only hope that next season is as interesting!
