Maison Akira is a great very unique restaurant, the Chef is Akira Hirose and his menu offers a French but with a Japanese flair cuisine that make for a truly exquisite and joyful taste. The Restaurant has an elegant atmosphere and is considered a fine dining restaurant. The Bento box is a famous picnic box made at the restaurant and comes with a main course, dessert, shrimp cocktail, cheese, salads and so much more great food, the box is $25 and is great for the Rose Bowl.
JJ Steak House.
For a great five star restaurant, JJ Steak House is the place to go. Located in Old Town Pasadena on the third floor where you will find a great view of the San Gabriel Mountains, this great restaurant is considered the ultimate in fine dinning. The menu offers a great variety of food such as a great selection of pasta, pork, chicken, duck and lamb. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a blend of old world romantic and contemporary art. The restaurant is fairly priced.
Lucky Baldwin's Pub.
Lucky Baldwin's pub is a great British Pub and Café. They have an extensive list of beers with over 62 beers on tap. The food menu offers a traditional English break fast and the best fish and chips in town, other items on the menu for break fast, lunch and dinner is priced around $10, a great price if you are looking to safe some money while you are here for the Rose Bowl.
All India Café.
The All India Café has been called " The best in Pasadena". They have a great fairly priced menu and all their foods are made without any artificial colorings or preservatives. The food is lean, healthful and low in fat.
