Leg of Mutton Roast

Mutton Leg Roast

1 leg of mutton
onions
potatoes,
garlic
Rosemary
thyme,
salt & pepper

1)Preheat oven to 350F
2)take skin and fat off the leg, pat dry and season with rosemary,thyme and salt & pepper
3)put leg in roasting pan with 4 cups water, add potatoes, onions and garlic. sprinkle salt & pepper to taste. Cover with foil or lid to roasting pan.
4)Allow 15 to 30 minutes cook time for each pound of meat. Uncover for the last 10 minutes.

Serve with unleavened bread, and wine.
