Everything I see seems similar
To what has gone before in times long past;
Does but one of the Earth think such strange thoughts,
Or rings it true with all who walk this world?
Does an event, in passing, sow the seeds
For its own rebirth in times yet to come?
Such a process, if true, could not but prove
Catastrophic for supposed free will.
Beware of cycles, they lead to nothing;
Remember the past, learn evil with good,
Shape the present, lest free will prove hollow,
Do not let the future become the past!
