Pat Robertson: Talking with God

Pat Robertson is adding to his dubious claims. On January 3^rd, Robertson claimed he came back from his annual prayer retreat with a message from God. Robertson claims that God told him that an attack of grave consequences will happen in America near the end of the year. Robertson stated that he was sure whether that meant in September or later but was sure it would be toward the end of the year. He also stated the God revealed to him that evil people are going to do evil things in America. Also, that God would not initially stop the evilness but would restrain it at some point. Robertson asked that the people of America in general will pray to God to help prevent such a disaster. He wasn't sure if there would be a nuclear attack but that an attack would be on the proportions of a mass killing. That millions would be affect or even killed and that major cities would be the most effected, possibly injured.

He claimed that God told him that chaos will rule after the evil people come. That the mass people would not know what to do, how to act, or how to respond. He also claimed that God told him that the politicians wont have any real solutions or answers for the chaos to follow such a disaster. He cited the chaos in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina as a prime example that politicians wouldn't be able to help.

Robertson added his latest claim to an already growing line of "visions". In 1985, Robertson claimed that his power of prayer steered Hurricane Gloria off its path to his company's headquarters and, of course, Virginia Beach, Virginia, in general. He claimed his masterful power of prayer saved thousands of lives. Then in 1998, he claimed Disney World's "gay days" would lead to disasters coming to the Orlando, Florida area. In 2006, he told residents in Dover, Pennsylvania that they shouldn't turn to God if disasters hit that area because the school board rejected to teach intelligent design theory in schools. Then in 2006, Robertson predicted, after a conversation with God, that a tsunami or something as bad will occur in the Pacific Northwest.

So, in closing, Robertson has once again claimed to have gotten a message from God. And is reporting that God has spoken to him and has made another prediction regarding humans and their relations. Wonder what the next prediction will be.
