Pat Toomey Would Be a Welcomed Change for Pennsylvania

Teresa (Tracey) Stanisha
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- During the PA 2010 primary, so many voters are a little bit confused. Yes, they see the ads from the different would-be senators up for election. However, they only hear a little blurb of what the candidates stand for. In May, more information has been given on some of the different Senators that are running for this coming primary. One particular name is Pat Toomey.

Toomey is a Republican, though he vows that crossing party lines will be what he will do in favor of the American public and representing his constituents. When you look over his background, he makes no doubt about his favor for jobs and for the people in PA. He also stands for several other issues that are hot right now, including the pro life issue.

Many people are disillusioned and dissatisfied with the way the country and the economy are progressing. They are looking for people that will stand for what they believe in and that means, those in power will do that no matter what. Many of these citizens are going to be putting their votes in for Toomey, as they feel that he may make a difference and stand up for what is right at all costs.

Using his background in small business and his ability to get to know the people, he has made a great name for himself in the area. People look up to him and respect him and know that his principles are good and solid. Considering that some other people in high places abuse their power, with Toomey, you will have someone who is fair and decent. That is a welcome and needed relief for many people.

Making changes in our country takes the combined ability of strong, good people that have the power to do so. Those people only get into those positions based on the voting process. Therefore, voting in the primary is extremely important. Some people feel that the primary can be overlooked, but it can't. If you are registered as either the Republican or the Democrat party you should it your right to vote. If you are an Independent, as of now, you are not allowed to vote in the primary, but the Independents will be watching just as closely for the results from the PA 2010 Primary. In fact, just about everyone will be watching and waiting for the outcome of this upcoming event and that is why it is very important to cast your vote on May 18.

Casting a vote for Toomey may be the welcome boost the PA economy needs. Assuming he is elected, as he progresses through the Senate, he will speak for the people, not for the party. His words and his actions will be upstanding. Therefore, results should be very good. What a welcome relief from some of the scandals and disasters that took place in the past few years. It is a time to join over the party lines and make the changes that are needed to benefit PA and all the people in our country. It is possible with the right people in power. He is one peg in the board that can make a very big difference. Use your vote to help him progress into the position that he needs to be in.
